I was actually hoping you'd help make a sign to mount outside: "THE HEX CLUB".

[ Hex, a play on her name — devotion, as thick as blood — on top of a reference to her knack for invention and construction, with her hand in the sign itself a mark of their shared lives. Something for them, for her, in the end. ]

[ A hex, a jinx, a curse. She resists her instinctive, destructive urge to reject the overture. To say, that’s a dumb name ‘cause she can’t recall the word ruinous in that moment.

Instead, she allows herself to sit with it. To be chosen and loved for all to see. ]
